Brighstone, Isle of Wight – Stable Cottage

This ancient one-bedroom thatched cottage has been attractively restored on the inside to provide light, open-plan accommodation with a nautical feel. This home is surrounded by beautiful West Wight scenery and is located in the grounds of Gillmans House. In the kitchen area, which includes an electric oven and stove, microwave, and refrigerator with ice section, prepare romantic meals for two. Next to the huge window is a beautiful dining space.

Relax and unwind in the wonderful lounge room, which has comfy chairs and a TV/DVD, the ideal location for relaxing in front of your favourite movie or unwinding with a nice book after a hard day on foot. The light king-size bedroom has a TV/DVD, an en-suite bathroom with a bath and handheld shower, and a door leading to the yard. It’s ideal for sipping your morning coffee outside in the fresh air.

A wonderful quiet garden with a spacious lawn, mature trees, garden furniture, and a parasol for sitting together in the sunshine can be found to the rear of the property. One car can be parked alongside the cottage.

Sorry, no dogs.

Brighstone has an antique church, general shop, tavern, newsagent, and hairdresser, all of which are ideal for filling up on supplies or enjoying a dinner out. Explore the beautiful Brighstone Downs on foot, or continue the footpath to the legendary Tennyson Downs and The Needles. The beach and National Trust shoreline are also less than a mile distant, as are the little towns of Freshwater and Yarmouth.
