If you’re feeling energetic, a hike up Tennyson Down will take you over Freshwater Bay to beautiful scenery, including views of the Needles rocks. The village centre has a decent assortment of amenities, including a shop and popular cafe just down the street, or you might try your hand at golf on the neighbouring course. The pebbled shores of Freshwater Bay, which are within walking distance, are ideal for beachgoers.
