Newchurch – The Garlic Farm

In the local area of The Garlic Farm, they offer seven beautifully refurbished self-catering vacation cottages and five luxury yurts sleeping two to 10 people. Cisitors have unique access to a tennis court, football pitch, and games area.

The acclaimed onsite restaurant offers daily breakfast and lunch specials to our visitors. Free WiFi is available in all of the cottages. Dogs are allowed in the cottages, which each have their own private garden area.

A great location for walking or biking around the island. A great local pub is only 1 mile away, and beaches are only 10 minutes distant by vehicle or 25 minutes away by bicycle.

The cottages and yurts can also be leased together for up to 50 people in a group setting.

Description

Yurts

The lovely yurts, which were handcrafted on the Isle of Wight, are situated in a quiet area behind the Garlic Farm. They’re ideal for couples and four-person households. Our Yurts, on the other hand, can accommodate up to six people in one king-size double bed downstairs and four full-size single mattresses upstairs. The mezzanine deck is accessible by a ladder.

They come with fully equipped kitchens, including an oven and stovetop, a refrigerator with a small freezer compartment, eating area, and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Each yurt also features a wood-burning stove and a 5 millimetre foil insulating layer to keep them warm no matter what the weather is like. On the roof, a perspex dome opens and closes, and a spherical shade may be inserted within the dome to block the early morning light.

A fire pit, chairs, a hammock, and a BBQ are all available outside. There are USB charging ports for phones and devices, as well as one 13-amp domestic outlet in each yurt. Although the yurts do not have WiFi, guests can connect at the games room, farm shop, and restaurant.

Each yurt is 6 metres in diameter, however the layouts vary. Dogs are not permitted in the Yurts.
