23rd December
We make our way to our hotel and check in after getting on the coach.

Christmas Eve – Island Highlights Tour

The many notable sights of this unique island are included in our great Island Highlights trip. We go for Alum Bay after passing via Ventnor, a lovely resort built on a series of terraces. The Needles, a famous chalky outcrop, and the multi-colored cliffs may be seen from here. The historic harbour town of Yarmouth is next, with some of the island’s oldest structures, including a 16th-century castle. We carry on to Newport, the Isle of Wight’s capital, which has a historic quayside and a variety of speciality stores. We return to the hotel for an afternoon of fun, mulled wine, and mince pies.

Christmas Day

Christmas Day at our hotel is a fantastic day of relaxation, with a Christmas lunch with all the fixings and delightful afternoon entertainment, followed by an evening buffet.

Boxing Day – Ryde & Cowes

We spend today’s half-day excursion at Ryde, which has a long stretch of golden sand, a charming esplanade, a harbour, and lovely gardens. Take a stroll down the town’s famed 19th-century pier, England’s oldest, or marvel at the many boats moored in the bustling harbour. Then it’s over to Cowes, a lively and stylish resort where the world-famous race takes place. Take a stroll along the seaside, shop in the boutiques, or observe the magnificent structures that date from Queen Victoria’s reign and were popularised by Prince Albert. This afternoon, we return to the hotel for some more entertainment.

27th December

We check out of our hotel and return home after breakfast.
