Shanklin theatre is located up a small hill in between The Old Village and Shanklin’s town. Surrounded by restaurants, great for a pre-show meal, for idea’s check out some of the options here.
There is no parking at the theatre, but there are two car parks near-by, don’t plan to be collected from outside afterwards as you may find many coaches outside (we saw 5 coaches outside after the show we went to, blocking the road).
The theatre is full of history and small touches throughout, including the historical map room, you can visit this during your trip. There is a well priced bar selling snacks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink and tea and coffee. There is a sweet shop in the Foyer. Considering the age of the theatre there is a decent amount of leg room and the steps are wide enough for my mobility boot.
So what are you waiting for, get looking at what’s on on their site and book your tickets here.
