Wootton, Isle of Wight – The Barn

Wootton contains a few modest stores and a few public houses, some of which have restaurants with views of the beautiful estuary. The house is close to several excellent walking and cycling paths. The golden beaches of Ryde, a seaside resort, are only a short drive away. The steam railway and Osborne House, the island palace of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, are also nearby.

The four-bed barn has a beautiful eating area with a wood stove that serves as a separating wall between it and the snug, which is a wonderful spot to relax in front of a genuine fire.

The kitchen includes an electric oven and gas stove, as well as a microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator/freezer. There’s a laundry room with a washer and dryer, as well as a welcoming breakfast nook with French doors going out to the garden beyond.

On the ground level, there are three bedrooms: two delightful doubles, one king size with French doors that open directly into the garden, and one king size with French doors that open directly onto the garden. This level is completed by a shower room with a shower and a WC.

The magnificent big living room with superb views, welcoming sofas, chairs, and TV can be reached by taking the stairs from the ground floor snug. The king-size master bedroom is situated on the first floor, and it’s a lovely room with beautiful views of the countryside. It contains a claw foot bath, separate shower, and WC in the en-suite bathroom.

Outside, there is a roughly one-acre garden that is completely enclosed and guarded. There’s a patio with garden furniture and a decked area off the ground-floor king-size bedroom, as well as a huge grass for lounging or playing games. Fields with breathtaking views surround much of the property. Three cars can be parked off the road.
